Chinese payment systems are now accepted on Sapsan trains

All Sapsan trains are now connected to Sendy, a service provider of the Chinese payment systems WeChat Pay and Alipay in Russia. Sendy uses an online payment technology based on QR codes. To make a payment, Chinese passengers only need a smartphone with the WeChat Pay or Alipay electronic wallet installed.

This way, passengers can use both the Russian electronic payment system Sendy as well as WeChat Pay and Alipay to buy goods and souvenirs onboard Sapsan trains. In the near future, this service will also be available when paying for dining services on the Sapsan trains.
