Safety Measures on Sapsan Train

To prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection between passengers travelling by Russian rail, anti-epidemiological measures are being carried out in close cooperation with the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare. Based on a request from the Moscow Department of Health, medical personnel have begun to examine passengers traveling by train. Stations and trains are regularly washed with special detergents and anti-bacterial lamps. Passengers are informed of safety measures through loudspeakers and coronavirus infection prevention posters. Train and station staff have been equipped with personal protective equipment and skin sanitizers; they have also been given additional training in the identification of infectious diseases.
